AJ Chambers are currently recruiting for a Personal Tax Manager for a Top 50 accountancy practice to work in their Central London office.

Your new role, based in the center of London, will include a mixture of compliance and advisory responsibilities. You will be working with a diverse portfolio of clients on matters that range from non-dom and residency, to dealing with media and entertainment clients.

You will be able to get involved in complicated projects, that will give you great exposure to interesting work and the ability to work closely with partners. For the right person, this is a great opportunity to establish yourself in a successful team than can offer progression.

Personal Tax Manager responsibilities

  • Support the team with the delivery of advisory work

  • Complete appraisals

  • CTA Qualified

Tax Manager duties

  • A mixed role with exposure to all elements of tax
  • Working closely with the tax partners, assisting them in managing the tax team

  • Identifying planning opportunities
  • Preparation of technical tax advisory reports

Taxation - Corporate Tax (Real Estate)

£35,000 - £45,000

AJ Chambers are recruiting for a Real Estate Tax Senior to join an international firm's central London office.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has been in Corporate Tax for a few years now, but would like to seek a new challenge. Whilst the role focuses on servicing corporate real estate clients, it is not essential to have extensive real estate experience.

The firm has offices in 5 different countries, with a well established Central London presence.

Real Estate Tax Senior responsibilities:

  • Working on a portfolio of real estate clients on a business tax basis
  • Reviewing/preparing UK corporation tax returns
  • Reviewing/preparing VAT returns
  • Reviewing/preparing non-resident landlord returns
  • Reviewing/preparing UK partnership tax returns
  • Assisting with the supervision and development of junior members of staff

Real Estate Tax Senior requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in a corporate tax role within an accountancy practice
  • ACA/ACCA preferred
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Able to organise and prioritise and monitor workload effectively
  • Able to maintain quality and focus whilst under pressure
  • Able to demonstrate problem solving skills.
